Week 13 of Practicum !!

DAY 62 (Monday, 2nd December 2024)



As for Day 62, I can’t believe that next week will be my last week at school. I spent the day as usual, attending all my classes. Some of the kids remembered that next week would be my last and they’ve already started begging me not to leave, how sad is that! But that’s the reality, every meeting eventually comes to an end. I didn’t take many pictures that day, but here’s a beautiful sunrise picture from my school to wrap up my Monday.


DAY 63 (Tuesday, 3rd December 2024)




As for Day 63, my Tuesday went flawlessly as everything went smoothly. Surprisingly, I didn’t have any relief classes that day. I attended my scheduled classes and even managed to take a rest in the teacher’s room. During the school assembly that morning, I noticed a student’s bag with a capybara plushie and it looked so cute that I had to take a picture! I also took a mirror selfie as an outfit check and yes, Tuesday is basically my blue outfit day. Haha! That’s all for today.



DAY 64 (Wednesday, 4th December 2024)



As for Day 64, it was the start of the year-end school examinations. The exams only involved Year 4 to Year 6 students, so I didn’t have my usual classes. Instead, I attended my classes just to observe the kids answering their exam papers. The rest of the day went as usual, and that wraps up my day since there are no more co-curriculum sessions.


DAY 65 (Thursday, 5th December 2023)



As for Day 65, I started the day with breakfast brought by Kak Farah, our practical teacher from OUM. Tomorrow will be her last day of practicum at our school and she brought Roti Jala with Chicken Curry. After that, I went to 4 Zaaba to observe the students as they answered their exam papers. Once they finished, I told them to study for the next paper or do anything they wanted. I noticed one boy named Aisy was busy making football player cards! It was very creative of him, so I took a picture of the card as memories haha! That wraps up my Thursday.


DAY 66 (Friday, 6th December 2024)



As for Day 66, my day went as usual. I attended my classes and observed the kids as they answered their exam papers. At noon, we shared a special moment with Kak Farah as it was her last day of practicum. We had lunch together with all the teachers in the teachers' room. The Mathematics panel brought lots of delicious food to celebrate her farewell. We also took a mirror selfie and a group selfie with Kak Farah as a keepsake of our last memories together. That marks the end of my Week 13. See you next week for my last week of practicum!

Week 2 of Practicum !!

 DAY 6 - DAY 10  (Monday, 16th September 2024 - Friday, 20th September 2024) During my second week as a practical teacher, the entire week coincided with the school holidays. My family and I took the opportunity to visit Kuantan, Pahang for a delightful vacation. It was an incredibly enjoyable week, and now I’m looking forward to return to school and reunite with my lovely students.

Week 3 of Practicum !!

 DAY 11 (Monday, 23rd September 2024) As for Day 11, after a week of school holiday and now the 3rd week of my practicum has finally begun. The week kicked off with a ceremony to launch the Healthy Food Campaign. A stunning poster banner, designed by my friend Lili, was the centrepiece, and I had the chance to assist her in setting it up for the event.The highlight of the ceremony was the appearance of a Mickey Mouse mascot, which had me feeling incredibly excited. I couldn’t miss the opportunity to snap a photo with the mascot, joined by my friend Lili and my colleague Kak Farah. It was truly a memorable day and a unique experience for me as a practical teacher.
