DAY 47 (Monday, 11th November 2024)
As for Day 47, I started my day as usual at school with the official school assembly. I took a picture of the students from the back while our headmaster was giving a speech. The students looked very focused as they listened to him. After the assembly, I took the opportunity to visit an animal showcase organised by the PPKI teachers. There were plenty of animals and one that caught my attention was a beautiful bird, it looked absolutely stunning. After strolling around to see the animals, I went to the pre-school class to relieve a teacher. I gave the students some worksheets and they completed them perfectly. And that’s all for the start of Week 10!
DAY 48 (Tuesday, 12th November 2024)
As for Day 48, the highlight of the day was making coupons for Entrepreneurship Day. Everything felt rushed because we had to manage our usual classes while working on the coupons. We needed to prepare 1,000 sets of coupons and finish them by the end of the week, so it was quite hectic. There was a lot of work to do such as designing, printing, stamping, and cutting. Let’s see if we can get everything done by this week! And that’s all for my Tuesday.
DAY 49 (Wednesday, 13th November 2024)
As for Day 49, everything went well as usual. Oh! I forgot to mention that Week 10 is my second time being a teacher on duty. So, I had a few extra responsibilities, like writing a report in the logbook about what happened at school during the day and that’s the picture. At noon, we had our co-curriculum session as usual and it was the turn for the Rakan Media club. Since there wasn’t much to learn that day, the teacher in charge played a movie for the kids to watch and relax. When we got back home, we wrapped up the day with some chicken rice before getting some rest. And that’s all for today!
DAY 50 (Thursday, 14th November 2024)

As for Day 50, the Year 4 kids had another activity for STEM Week, which was building a time machine robot. I found this activity even more interesting than the water rocket because I think it’s more challenging for the kids to create! While observing my Year 4 kids working on the robot, I noticed the kittens of the orange cat I mentioned before sitting together at the NILAM corner. They were so adorable, so I snapped a picture of them before heading to the teachers’ room. My duty for today was handling the canteen during recess for Year 1 to Year 3. The students were very loud and difficult to manage, but luckily Cikgu Nasha accompanied me. Together, we managed to get the kids to quiet down a bit. During recess, some Year 2 kids asked me to take their picture. The one in the yellow shirt flashing the peace sign is Ayden. He loves to tease me and always asks me to relieve his class because he says he likes to play with me Sir Naim! Haha! And that’s all for today.
DAY 51 (Friday, 15th November 2024)
As for Day 51, I started my day at school by guarding the school gate and helping the kids cross the street. I was in charge of this duty today and it marked my last day as a teacher on duty for the week! During recess, I observed all the classes from Year 4 to Year 6 for the "Most Clean Class" competition. The picture I took was of 6 Hamka, which turned out to be the cleanest class of the week. After managing all my responsibilities, I took the chance to continue working on the coupons until settle 1,000 sets and that wraps up my Week 10 journal. See you next week, bye!
